This page is a modest list of the collectible items I’ve managed to gather behind me. It’s fitting to recall the well-known phrase: “Small things, but pleasant”. My collection includes boxes, pins, coins, and some other items. I don’t aim to collect absolutely everything in the world, but when there’s a chance and a desire to take something that pleases the eye – it’s hard to resist.
The pet from the Collector’s Edition of The Burning Crusade, unfortunately, will never appear in my collection. For unknown reasons, Blizzard deleted all the codes from their databases. Why this had to be done is hard to understand. They say the developers faced an issue with a large number of “old-type” keys, which supposedly could be used to obtain another exclusive pet. I didn’t go into details since it no longer matters. Still, it’s strange why even the unused Collector’s Edition codes had to be written off. That made about as much sense as renaming McCree.
Dozens of fans around the world who found new, sealed boxes encountered this problem. I ended up among them as well, without even knowing about the situation. Unfortunately, Blizzard refuses to meet the players halfway. Frankly speaking, such crap never happened under Mike.
